March Theme-Graffiti or Street Art

The March Theme is graffiti or street art in your town, and I am showcasing this one because I find it hauntingly beautiful. It is hidden away behind a restaurant in Makawao, and I located it through the help of my daughter.

Please take the time to peruse the interesting photos with this theme from around the world.

It is gorgeous and I love the colors. I think that is what gives it the "haunting" look. Nice find, I hope you treated your daughter for finding this.

I really like the first one especially, the close-up.

Thanks for visiting Glasgow DP!

[hope this doesn't end up as a double post - just had a technical ineptitude moment there!]

And thanks for posting the two photos, they complement each other well. One is just "inside the dream", the other shows the location.

Aloha Kuanyin :) I found your blog when looking for a quick picture of our hospital here on Maui to use on my blog. My friend had her baby there today..so I was making a little announcement. I was very happy to find your blog and your nice picture. I hope that it is okay that I put it on my blog with credits and a link to you.

I spoke a little about your blog too because it's really amazing..all the wonderful pictures of our island..it is reminding me that I need to get out more! I put a link to your blog in my 'blogs I read' section and will be checking it frequently. I think that my readers will enjoy it as well as I make and sell beaded jewelry so have a lot of customers that have either been here or are coming here..and just people who really have a love for the island. So I imagine I will mention your blog every so often when I see you have some neat pics up :)

I wanted to ask you too, where in makawao is this wall art picture? I live in Makawao and want to see it in person..it's so beautiful! I've lived here for 16 years and I have never seen it lol! I'm a real home body plus I work at home..so it's really not suprising that I haven't seen it..but I do have to laugh at myself because it is a whole wall!

anyways..it's nice to meet you and Mahalo Nui Loa for letting me use your picture. If it's not okay..just let me know and I will take it down :)
