Over here what is called 'Spanish Moss' elsewhere is called Pele's Hair. This plant lives on air!

It has a more romantic sound to Pele's hair than just Spanish Moss. I think air plants are so fascinating. thanks for showing us the "hair".

What a neat looking tree.

Today I've posted different Amish buggy's. Take the 320 question quiz to see how much you know about the Amish.

So, this is how and where Spanish moss grows! Look at that... Amazing plant, really. Does it climb dead trees?

Unfamiliar with air plants so I'll have to look that up now! Great education we get here. Pele, however, always brings to mind the soccer player extraordinaire.

Saw a lot of these in Louisiana. Am surprised they have them in Hawaii but then again, why not? The weather is almost similar.
