Trees on Maui
I love trees--all kinds of trees! Every week I find myself photographing yet another beautiful tree, and here are three of the many photographs I took of trees recently.

That lavendar/purple is lovely! What is it?
The jacaranda is beautiful and really in full bloom. Great shots.
I call Jacaranda purple snow trees - the purple flowers fall off and make almost a snow on the ground. ;)
Great pics as always!

I recognize some but others not. I like trees too as they are living, breathing and speaking things most people take for granted. It is unfortunate that they are stuck in place by their root system. Otherwise traffic would come to a standstill while forests of trees would be fleeing madmen with chain saws and flat bed trucks.
Surprise, surprise, surprise. It's me!

Oh wow, those trees are wonderful. I remember a town in Australia with Jacarandas either side of a long main street. Quite stunning. It's a beautiful tree. All those trees are just beautiful.
Wow, the jacaranda trees are also blooming in Wailea. Regrettably it doesn't last for long, but it's wonderful!!!
Such a great variety!
I love the jacaranda - we had them in bloom back in november, now it's your turn in the northern hemisphere. Enjoy!
Oh, what is that purple tree in the first photo?? Is that the jacaranda that everyone is commenting about?
Never heard nor seen it before.
