Smiling Again

This is a photo of a relative of my partner. He lost his darling wife to cancer several years ago, and this was his first time to visit us on Maui. I finally caught him smiling for the first time on this beach.

Mama Maui is known for her ability to return smiles to the faces and assist those who have been grieving to take the first baby steps to healing.
