Acne A Go-Go

I discovered this vending machine at the Queen Ka'ahumana Center, and it made me chuckle and whip out my camera from my purse. If you have acne, you can purchase a remedy from this machine.

I've read that machines will be doing most of the work in our future, and maybe this vending machine is a sign that the future is fast approaching.
What do you think? Are you seeing more and more vending machines in your cities?

If You Have To Wait....

These photos were taken at the Queen Ka'ahumanu Center in Kahului, and I decided to do a theme about WAITING. I'm guessing this guy (above) is probably a Tour Guide or driver, and he's waiting on his group while they shop. And this guy might be waiting for someone to pick him up outside the center.
And this comfortable chair is awaiting the next person who waits.

Across The Mall

Today I'm continuing with photos from the Queen Ka'ahumanu Center. This photo looks across to the Food Court area, and it was shot from the Second Level. As you can see, the lighting fixtures are Asian influenced and give off a soft glow to the surroundings.

At The Fun Factory

This game--Deal Or No Deal--is very popular at the Fun Factory inside the Queen Ka'ahumanu Center. Do your children have places like the Fun Factory with lots of arcade and video games where you live?

Re-visiting The Queen

I've posted a photo of the Queen Ka'ahumanu statue for nearly ever season now with this one qualifying as my summer post. Longtime readers of this blog may recall viewing this statue which stands at the center of the Queen Ka'ahumanu Shopping Center in Kahului.

IMHO I feel the shopping center website designers should incorporate the image of this beautiful statue into their website, and most specifically their landing page.

All Aboard!

This old-style trolley-like bus connects Wailea and Kihei to Kaahumanu Center, the Maui Mall, and Maui Marketplace in Kahului, and as you can read, it's FREE!

Flying High

The roof of the Queen Ka'ahumanu Center, the main shopping center on Maui, is easily recognizable from a distance--a series of peaked white thrusts. This photo shows one corner of the large center.
