July Theme Day--Signs with No In Them

This photo is probably my LEAST inspired of all the many daily themes I've participated in through the years. Here's my alibi: I simply couldn't locate any weird, horrible, or wonderful "No Signs". Maybe no such signs exist, ya think?

I found this one outside a medical clinic, and I can certainly understand why it would be posted there!

Check out the creativity of the other participating daily photobloggers below.

I don't know--I think a 3-minute parking limit is pretty weird.

I agree with you, some themes don't inspire me either (either, neither, are difficult words for me, French speaking, excuse me if Idon't use them in the right way...). I've found last month difficult! But you've finally found a nice "No"!

I think it's interesting in itself that you dont have no signs all over the place where you live! Makes me want to visit :) Happy Theme Day

Only three minutes?! Is it possible for people in Hawai'i to move that fast? Must be some busy body from the mainland who came up with that sign. They obviously need to learn to kick back a little, eh?

Happy Theme Day!

I'm thinking the same as d.c. - it is the time you take to boil an egg.

You know, that 3 minute rule can be a challenge for the elderly and for mom's with kids ;^).

Some folks got inspired and found unique signs, and others found common signs and somehow caught something ironic going on (like a parked car or horse in a no parking/no horses zone). Too bad there weren't any "No Hula Dancing" or "no surfing" signs to be found! A couple of themes I've felt like my offering was too par for the course like last month, so I collaged a bunch of images--anything to make it more interesting to me. Next month might be more inspirational for us both, eh? Best,
-Kim

Thank you very much for posting your comment today on your first visit to my new Tamarindo, Costa Rica Daily Photo site. I have visited your site before, as we have stayed in Wailea (and elsewhere in Hawaii) on vacations in the past.

Threre are interesting similarities and differences between Costa Rica and Hawaii. Beaches, surfing, tropical plants, warm weather, the Aloha or "Pura Vida" attitude towards life, and volcanoes are some of the similarities. Costa Rica borders on both the Atlantic and Pacific and has 6% of the world's biodiversity, whereas Hawaii has a much narrower scope of plant and animal life because it is perhaps the most isolated island chain on the planet. Costa Rica is still a developing country, which leads to some differences as well.

I hope that our respective Daily Photo sites will be of interest to people in becoming more familiar with two versions of tropical paradise.

This was a tough one to come up with and feel good about at the same time but it makes us all look and think about what we are seeing . . . great exercise. At least you don't have sign pollution.

3-minute parking for loading and unloading sounds like a reasonable time to me.

Yikes, hope you weren't hurt in the train incident in Orlando.

My friend dropped me off at Columbus, Ohio - now in Utah. This sign was outside the airport, she helped me with my bag and she got a ticket! Three minutes - they didn't give her two!
