Fish Ponds Of Maui
This is one of the few remaining Menehune Fishing Ponds left on Maui, and it can be found oceanside of the Menehune Shores condo. It is officially known at the 16th Century Alii (Royal) Fish Pond of Kalepolepo.

Why is it called a pond? It's obviously a bit larger ;-)
Isabella: it's because the sides are closed-in by rocks, and there's a reef...you can't see all this (of course) in my photo. The fishermen throw the nets out to fish here. Nowadays, they use poles too. :-)
