Wanna Paddle?
Stand-up paddle boards have become increasingly popular on Maui, and many places rent them so you don't have to purchase. I've never tried it, so I don't know how challenging it is or how hard it is to direct the board. In the second photo, it looks as if the paddle boarder is heading directly towards the swimmer.

I'm hoping they are a passing fad! I can't remember a less efficient means of getting somewhere, but they are having fun so good on them!

I saw a couple of guys doing that at The Cove in Palos Verdes - thought it was really bizzare. but it looks like it takes balance & strength & good for times with no waves. Nice boards & WONDERFUL weather. Hope it cleared up enough to see the moon/planets meeting.
