Blowing The Conch
Reverend Valentine "Tino" Rosete blows the conch to begin the wedding ceremony. This blowing of the conch is considered correct protocol and marks the official beginning of the sacred ceremony. It is a call to the divine, and there is meaning to the number of blows. The ancient Hawaiians communicated with the use of conch shells.

Aloha, Kuanyin!
The shots you have on here are really great! I thought you should know that we've just completed our latest site, HawaiiPhotography.com that allows photographers (and anyone else that enjoys photos of Hawaii) to add images and discuss in forums, etc...
If you'd like, you're welcome to set up a free profile and add images as well as see other people's photos and meet some new people on the island. The site is pretty new, but as you can see since I'm sending this to you at 11 at night, we're going at it pretty hard. It's going to be a very popular and helpful resource in the next 6 months. Please check it out when you can. I'm sure it will help in promoting your blog too. Mahalo!
