A Famous Being



This large banyan street sits/lives in front of the entrance to the Maui Arts and Cultural Center, the main entertainment venue on Maui. It was moved here when the MACC was constructed from it's former home in Wailuku, and it is very, very old. Many people have carved their name and initials into its skin through the years. Most people pass it by without acknowledging it. I have spent lots of time communing with it and have taken many, many photos. Here's one more...
