Reaching For The Stars
I adore bougainvillea and there is a lot growing on our property--as a matter of fact, I'm off soon to buy MORE of it. This hardy plant thrives in South Maui because it can withstand the hot sun.

I once saw a glorious bougainvillea in northern Wisconsin and thought it was one of the most beautiful flowering vines I'd ever seen. It was, of course, in a greehouse, and it did make a fabulous "statement" there. To have this plant growing and thriving outside on ones own property seems almost too wonderful to believe. But, of course, in paradise, that would be possible.
